Worship

Regular worship services are Saturdays at 5:00 pm and Sundays at 8:00 and 10:30 am. During the summer months of June through September a service is added each Monday at 7:00 pm. Holy Communion is celebrated during the first and third weekends of the month, as well as on other selected Sundays and holidays. Private communion is available to those who are homebound or in nursing homes. Our services are recorded on video and are available online or from the church office. Daily devotional material is provided for personal and family use.

Midweek services are held during Advent (the Wednesdays before Christmas) and during Lent (the six Wednesdays before Easter). Other holidays also provide opportunities for us to gather in worship.

Weekend worship services appear on Comcast Channel 57 and FIOS Channel 27 on Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm. The service that is shown on television may be one from the previous weekend or from special services throughout the year.

A staffed nursery is available during the 10:30 am worship service. Qualified volunteers staff our nursery and are prepared to care for your young child.

Sunday Bible Studies

Several Bible study opportunities are available on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 am including an adult Bible study, Adult Information Class, Public School Confirmation, and a multi-age study for children whose parents are attending one of the other studies.

STEPS - Midweek Ministry

As God’s chosen and redeemed people, we rejoice in our salvation and seek to follow in Christ’s footsteps. To help you in your journey, we invite you to St. Peter’s midweek ministry where St. Peter's is Training, Equipping, Preparing, and Sending God’s people!

STEPS groups are offered on Wednesday evenings from September through May for people of all ages and in all stages of their spiritual journey. Groups meet from 7:00-8:00 pm with a dinner offered from 6:00-6:45 pm. New classes begin four times throughout the academic year.

While the adults are getting in step, fun and energetic programs are offered for preschool and elementary children. The middle school and high school youth groups also meet during this time, allowing each member of the family to be immersed in God’s Word.

Summer Programs

Each summer the church offers a special week of Bible stories, songs, games, and crafts for children ages three through grade six. A staff of nearly one hundred volunteers makes this a fun-filled, faith-building Vacation Bible School.

New Members

Adults who may be interested in joining St. Peter’s are given the opportunity to learn more of our church’s teachings. They are encouraged to enroll in our adult information class.  This class usually meets for a twelve-week period.  The adult information classes are usually offered throughout the year.
