Making
Disciples...
Together!
What
is
the
Purpose
of
Small
Groups?
Small
groups
are
designed
to
help
connect
people
into
a
God-centered
community
where
members
can
grow
in
God's
kingdom,
values
and
purposes
for
life.
At
St.
Peter's,
we
want
everyone
to
have
a
chance
to
be
known,
loved
and
growing
in
grace
together
with
a
few
other
people
in a
small
group.
What
do
Small
Groups
Study?
St.
Peter's
small
groups
study
God's
word
to
discover
God's
purposes
for
their
lives.
From
time
to
time,
all
groups
at
St.
Peter's
will
be
encouraged
to
use
the
same
curriculum.
During
these
times,
the
topic
of
each
week
will
coincide
with
the
sermon
topic
at
our
weekend
services.
These
will
be
great
opportunities
for
the
congregation
to
study
the
same
material
together.
Who
Hosts
These
Groups?
Hosts
are
volunteers
who
help
facilitate
the
discussion
and
distribute
information
to
group
members.
Small
Group
Hosts
attend
St.
Peter's
and
commit
to
open
their
hearts
to
others
and
invite
them
into
their
home
to
grow
and
study
together.
They
have
established
Christian
character,
their
faith
in
Jesus
Christ
and
their
commitment
to
St.
Peter's
Lutheran
Church.
Groups
share
responsibility
within
the
group.
