CCHC: The Impact
Caring for Body and Soul in Fort Wayne
One of the greatest blessings God gives His people is the opportunity to serve their neighbors with both compassion and hope. Through our partnership with Christian Community Healthcare (CCHC), St. Peter's will soon extend Christ's love beyond our church walls in a powerful new way.
The St. Peter's clinic will provide more than medical care. It will be a place where people are welcomed with dignity, treated with compassion, and reminded that they are not alone. CCHC's mission focuses on caring for the whole person (body, mind, and spirit) reflecting the love of Jesus in practical ways.
This ministry has the potential to touch countless lives throughout Fort Wayne. Families facing difficult circumstances, individuals seeking encouragement, and neighbors who simply need someone to listen will encounter Christian care through the hands and hearts of volunteers from St. Peter's.
As Christians, we know that caring for our neighbors is not just something we do, it is part of who we are. God gathers us around His Word and Sacraments and then sends us into the world to serve others in His name.
In the months ahead, there will be many opportunities to learn more and discover how you might be part of this exciting ministry. Come find out more with Austin Bradtmueller and Pastor Nate on Sunday, July 19th, in-person during the Bible Study hour at 9:15 am in the Cornerstone room. Together, we pray that God will use St. Peter's to bring healing, hope, and the love of Christ to our community for years to come.
