SOUPer Bowl Food Drive

It’s nearly time for “Super Bowl LX (60)." Here at St. Peter’s that translates into “Souper Bowl Food Drive” time to help feed the less fortunate members of our Fort Wayne community. The game is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026, to be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA (near San Francisco).

The Social Ministry Team will have tables set up in the west hallway to accommodate your donations and our BIG Campbell's Soup Can will be located on the table near the side (middle) church doors for cash donations.

The Associated Churches of Fort Wayne Food Bank will be the recipient of our donations. They ask us to please donate only non-perishable food items and make sure that the food items do not have expired use by dates. Donations will be accepted at all the weekend services including

Saturday, February 7th and both services on Sunday the 8th. Thank you for your support of this, unfortunately, very much needed activity. May your decision to contribute be guided by God’s almighty hand and His blessings. THANK YOU!

Compassionate Care Collection: Turnstone

Watch the powerful video using the poem "It Couldn't Be Done" by Edgar Guest (1881-1959) to understand why you'll so often see Turnstone as one of the local Fort Wayne missions we support at St. Peter's. This month's Compassionate Care will collect items currently needed for some of the programs they are running. Collection baskets are in the North Corridor & Ministry Center.

  • New Dish Towels
  • Styrofoam cups
  • Cup cake pans
  • Food storage containers

At Turnstone, we create possibilities. Turnstone is Northeast Indiana's only free-standing not-for-profit organization providing a comprehensive continuum of supportive services addressing the unique needs of people with disabilities and their families.

The agency is governed by a passionate board of directors and is known for its exceptional staff of licensed professionals including physical, occupational, speech, and recreation therapists, fitness specialists, social workers, and educators.

Special Monthly Offering: Church Worker Scholarship

The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few! The bible tells us those who choose to work in the church are important and sometimes rare. For those few, we want to be part of the resources available to them to carry on in the mission God has placed before them. Every little bit helps.
