August's 5th Sunday theme is tacos! After the 10:30 worship service we'll head out to the new Preschool Playground for a blessing then gather in the gym to eat together.

Lunch N' Learn

Register and order lunch for only $10 through the link below or through the Church Office.
There is an additional credit card fee to pay online. To eliminate this fee, pay with cash at the church office.

Turnstone Center
Tina will offer an overview of the Turnstone Center and their services. She will also include information on ADA regulations and Turnstone’s involvement in the Global Sports Mentoring Program. There will be time for Q & A after her presentation.

Never quilted before? It's a skill that can be learned. These ladies are wonderful teachers and would love to have you join them, even if (maybe especially if) you have babies underfoot.
These quilts made are special ordered for a variety of gifts. Come help with a stitch or two or contact Linda Thiele if you'd like to talk to her about an order.

Never knotted before? It's easier than tying your shoe.
These special quilts are made with love and quickly, because of how many are needed. They'll be taken on mission trips and given to families who have lost their homes. They'll be boxed up and shipped to Lutheran World Relief who will send them to all corners of the globe. They'll also be displayed annually each Fall during our Quilt Auction to raise funds for the LWML Mites Missions & Grants.
Moms need other Moms
Join us in the Cornerstone Room on Wednesday mornings after school drop-off for casual conversations and connection over coffee. Bring your littles for a play-date.

Women's Connection Group

Come enjoy a little fellowship, Visual Faith Ministries prayer ideas, and grab something to eat if you’d like. Meet up every last Wednesday of the month as soon as Kekionga Craft Co. opens at 5 pm. No registration needed. We'd love to have you with us.

Sewing: Easy Quilting Craft

Regret never learning how to sew? Or haven’t picked up a needle and thread in a long time? Do not miss this opportunity to learn from ladies who’ve been sewing since 2nd grade!
It’s nearly a lost art, but we’re bringing it back with Linda Thiele, Debbie Haenftling, Carol Nahrwold, and Jan Bultemeier who have curated a perfect practice project to teach you sewing and the basics of quilting in the form of a pot holder or trivet. Coordinate colors with your kitchen!
It’s made for beginners, but any sewing ability is welcome. There’s so much knowledge combined in this room, if you have a question about anything related to needle and thread, they can answer it!
They’ll have all the supplies ready for you, but it’s a good idea to bring your own pair of sharp scissors and as usual, a snack to share!
Already have a craft you’re working on, but never have time to fiddle with it? Bring that instead. Let’s just hang out and make stuff together.
Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:30 pm in the School Gym
This rhythmic and fun class is adaptable for all ages and skill levels. Certified instructor, Alicia Rodenbeck, will teach you all you need to know to enjoy the class. Equipment is provided.
We're taking a break in August, but join us back in September with a new location and more consistant time! Every Tuesday & Thursday we'll meet in the Auxillary Gym at 6:30. Enter through the Cafeteria door. Come 15 minutes early to help set up.
Sundays @ 5-7 pm in Main Gym
All are welcome no matter your skill level. Equipment is provided. A small free will donation is accepted, but not required to play.

MSYG meets during every HOPE Sessions in addition to additional servant events or fellowship activities. Next HOPE Session starts now on Wednesdays, October 7th - November 11th.
