School Board Survey & Teacher Call Committee

Our mission statement of Connect to Christ, Grow in His Grace, Share Him with Others, guides everything we do—from how we teach and lead, to how we support our students and families. As we continue to strengthen our school’s culture, we value your input in identifying the key principles that define who we are and what we stand for.

Please take a few minutes to complete THIS SURVEY and share your thoughts. Your feedback will help us ensure that our core values reflect the heart of our church and school community, for His glory. Thank you for being a part of this important process!

Additionally, with the departure of Mrs. Launer into retirement that creates the need for a new staff member for the 2025/26 school year. Our Board of Directors has put together the Call Committee and this committee has already begun to meet. We are excited to announce that Mrs. Zimmerman, our current 6th grade teacher is sliding down to 4th grade and we are looking to add a middle school teacher to our team. We have begun looking through Commissioned Minister Information Form's (CMIF's) from across the country for a candidate who could fit in our ministry. CMIF's are a nationwide database of resumes and information for all Called teachers in our Synod.

If you know someone who would be a great fit for our school please use this Google Form to nominate them. There are also physical nomination forms available in the Ministry Center as well. These names will be provided to the Call Committee as they work through search for who the Lord has to serve with us.

Keep the Call Committee in your prayers as they carry out this all important task of finding a teacher to serve in our Wildcat Family!

A Lifetime of Love
By Pastor Nate Widener July 28, 2025
St. Peter’s Family, My wife Amy and I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the outpouring of love you have shown us over the last several weeks. This past weekend, my oldest daughter Gwyn was married to our wonderful son-in-law Benjamin Corley, and we couldn’t be happier. But, what made it all the sweeter was seeing so many of your caring and supportive faces in the congregation. Similarly, as you know, just a few short weeks ago I lost my father, Nick Widener, and I cannot express to you the depth of my thankfulness for all of the condolences that you have given me and my family. Your cards are all sitting on the windowsill of my office. Without question St. Peter’s is a loving and caring congregation, and this is part of what makes you so great. Thank you for taking care of us, so that we can also take care of you. May God Bless you, Pastor Nate

As we begin our new preschool year, we will need some supplies. It takes a lot of glue, markers and paint to keep preschoolers busy. Please consider taking a letter or two from our “Giving Tree”. Each letter is labeled with a needed supply item to be donated. Once you have shopped, you can return the item(s) to the tree. Thank you for your generosity as you bless our preschool. You are truly appreciated!
