Food Drive & SNAP Support

Pastor Nate Widener • November 10, 2025

If you are a member, school family, or preschool family you're eligible!

As you know, Thanksgiving is a time for fellowship and fun, but for some people in our congregation it’s a difficult time of year. Each year we have our Thanksgiving Food Drive and we will certainly be doing that this year, but in conjunction with that we’re asking for you to consider giving $25 gift cards so that we can include these in our food boxes that go to those we’re walking beside.

SNAP benefits currently have been temporarily suspended and we want to address that here in our congregation. If you know someone who is suffering or in need of help, just make sure they get in contact with the church office so we can help them in their time of need or you can refer people so they can receive the help they need. Call 260-749-5816 or email churchoffice@stpetersfw.org.

Gift cards can be from any grocery store like Meijer, Walmart, or Kroger and we ask they come in $25 denominations so it’s easier to spread out those donations that come in.

Ultimately here at St. Peter’s, whenever people in our congregation hurt, we hurt and we want to help them because we care. So please help us do that this Thanksgiving. Peace be with you.
