Graduation Celebration

Blessing of our Graduates

The weekend of the 26th, our congregation will celebrate and bless our high school graduates during each worship service. Graduates may attend any service that weekend, and near the end of the service, before the Benediction, we will invite them forward so that the congregation may pray for them and commend them to the Lord’s care.

This is a joyful moment for our church family. We praise God for His work in the lives of these young men and women. Through their families, teachers, pastors, coaches, mentors, and fellow members of the body of Christ, God has been shaping and sustaining them. He has brought them to this milestone, and we give thanks for His faithfulness.

Our graduates now prepare to take many different paths. Some will go on to college. Some will pursue trade schools or training programs. Some will enter the workforce. Some will serve in the military. Each path brings new opportunities, new responsibilities, and new challenges. Yet wherever they go, they do not go alone. The same Lord who has been with them in childhood and youth goes with them into this next season of life.

Christ has promised His presence to His people. He remains faithful in times of change, steady in uncertainty, and gracious in every new beginning. As our graduates step forward, we pray that they will continue to hear His Word, trust His promises, receive His gifts, and walk in the faith into which they have been baptized.

Please join us in giving thanks to God for our graduates. Come ready to encourage them, pray for them, and bless them as members of this congregation who are being sent into new vocations and places of service under the care of Christ.
