Lunch N' Learn: Rev. Dr. Larry Rast

Tony Acosta • November 4, 2024

A Congregational Invitation to Lunch N' Learn:

Who was Henry Rudisill? Why is there a street named for him in Fort Wayne? How are he and his wife connected to the development of the Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne?

Why does the name Wyneken resound in books about the LCMS in Northeast Indiana? How were Father and Mother Buuck connected to the Wyneken family?

Is our Head Elder, Troy Buuck, related to Father and Mother Buuck?

You can learn about how and why our church got started in Northeast Indiana by attending a presentation by Rev. Dr. Lawrence Rast, former President of the Concordia Seminary of Fort Wayne. Dr. Rast will be presenting a program on our history, Monday, November 11th in the Cornerstone Room. This program will feature a German style meal starting at 11:30 am followed by the program. Register in advance so we know how many meals to order, and the cost is a mere $10 a person.
