Preschool End of the Year Celebrations

A Note from Barb Christian, Preschool Director

WOW! Here we are at the end of another school year. We had such a great year learning how God is with us, no matter where we go or what adventure we are on. One of my favorite things about this year is all of the relationships that I have made with students and their families. I enjoy the connections that I have made and look forward to watching those connections grow. I also enjoy watching the children grow. Our year was filled with so many experiences that encouraged growth in all areas of development, including some of our year-end activities. Classes wrapped up the year with field trips to Georgetown Bowling and to Pizza Hut, a lemonade stand that raised money for the animal shelter, a water day filled with splashes, a baby shower for A Hope Center, and a treat from Whip & Chill. Chapel concluded the year, reminding us that God provides everything we need.

Thank you for all the support we felt from you through prayers, fundraisers, and donations. Thank you for being a blessing to us.

A Lifetime of Love
By Pastor Nate Widener July 28, 2025
St. Peter’s Family, My wife Amy and I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for the outpouring of love you have shown us over the last several weeks. This past weekend, my oldest daughter Gwyn was married to our wonderful son-in-law Benjamin Corley, and we couldn’t be happier. But, what made it all the sweeter was seeing so many of your caring and supportive faces in the congregation. Similarly, as you know, just a few short weeks ago I lost my father, Nick Widener, and I cannot express to you the depth of my thankfulness for all of the condolences that you have given me and my family. Your cards are all sitting on the windowsill of my office. Without question St. Peter’s is a loving and caring congregation, and this is part of what makes you so great. Thank you for taking care of us, so that we can also take care of you. May God Bless you, Pastor Nate
