Retirement: Pam Launer, 4th Grade Teacher

Chris Brune • January 13, 2025

Farewell, Pam Launer and blessings on your retirement!

We here at St. Peter's have been blessed over our almost 170 year history with an excellent teachers and our current staff certainly fit this mold of excellence. A cornerstone of our St. Peter's staff for 24 years has been our 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Pam Launer. After those 24 years here at St. Peter's and a combined 40 in lutheran education, she is ready to take on the next blessing of life, that of Retirement! Mrs. Launer will be retiring at the end of this school year giving her more time with her beautiful family (especially grandchildren) and whatever else God has in store.

There will be more information about formal ways we plan to celebrate her service towards God's children towards the end of the year. For now thank you just doesn't seem sufficient. What I will ask for is if you see her around, in worship or school stop and say thank you or share a quick story of what she meant to you or your children. The amount of lives touched over the past 40 years in teaching would be almost impossible to calculate. However, what I am more than confident in, is God has worked through Mrs. Launer in the lives of His children each and everyday. Without a doubt, our joyous celebration in heaven will be a bit larger because of Him working through her.

Well done good and faithful servant!
