Senior Saints Summer Adventures Await!

The Senior Saints are gearing up for a wonderful summer of fellowship, learning, and fun, and we'd love for you to join us!

June: Discover Life on the Dairy Farm

Our summer kicks off with a visit to Kuehnert Dairy Farm on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. This interactive and educational tour begins at 10:30 a.m. and offers a behind-the-scenes look at one of Fort Wayne's most beloved family farms.

Participants will enjoy three exciting stops during the tour:

* Visit the freestall barn where the cows eat, drink, sleep, and are milked.

* Observe the robotic milking facility and watch modern dairy farming in action.

* Tour the Kuehnert Milk House, learn about dairy products made on-site, and enjoy a milk tasting.

The tour is handicap accessible and has proven to be a favorite for attendees of all ages.

The cost is $8 per person and must be paid to St. Peter's by June 7 through the church office or online registration. Following the tour, those who wish can enjoy lunch at the Udder Upp Café on the farm (meal cost is on your own).

Need a ride? Carpooling is available. Contact Louise Creutz, or call the church office if you need assistance obtaining contact information.

July: Summer Break

During July, Senior Saints will take a brief summer break. We encourage everyone to enjoy time with family and friends, take advantage of the beautiful weather, and return refreshed for more exciting opportunities this fall.

August: Learning About Turnstone

In August, we welcome Tina Acosta, who will share information about the incredible work being done through Turnstone. This promises to be an inspiring and informative presentation as we learn how Turnstone serves individuals and families throughout our community.

Additional details will be announced soon.

September: Celebrate America at the Blue Gate Theatre

Mark your calendars for September 16, 2026, when Senior Saints will travel to the Blue Gate Theatre for a special performance celebrating America's 250th Birthday.

This extraordinary production combines beloved patriotic music, inspiring stories from our nation's history, and stunning visual presentations to create a memorable experience honoring the dream and miracle of the United States of America.

Guests will:

* Enjoy timeless songs and stirring anthems.

* Learn fascinating stories from America's past.

* Be inspired as the history and grandeur of our nation come alive.

The event promises to be much more than a concert—it's a unique celebration of our nation's heritage and spirit.

Please note that ticket orders will be due by July 19, 2026. Registration information and ticket pricing will be announced soon.

Senior Saints continues to provide opportunities for fellowship, learning, recreation, and growing together in community. Whether you're a longtime participant or considering joining us for the first time, we invite you to come along for these exciting summer and fall events.
