49th Mission Trip: An Opportunity to Serve

This winter, St. Peter’s is preparing for our 49th Disaster Relief Mission Trip, returning to Black Mountain, North Carolina, to help rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Helene. From Sunday, February 22 through Friday, February 27, 2026, volunteers will come alongside families still working to recover and restore what was lost.

This year’s trip is shorter than in the past—just one week—but the need is just as great. If you’ve ever wondered whether you could help, this is a meaningful opportunity to serve with your hands, your skills, and your heart.

We partner with Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders, a Christian nonprofit committed to caring for disaster victims across the U.S. They steward their resources faithfully, directing 97 cents of every donated dollar toward building materials that make recovery possible.

If you’re interested in joining the team or would like more information, please contact Mike Bultemeier at (260) 438-0948. You can also join the Disaster Relief Action Team through your Realm Connect App under the Serving tab, where you can update your skills and availability. Prefer not to use Realm? Just call the Church Office. We’re happy to get you connected.

Whether you go, give, or pray, your involvement matters. God continues His work of restoration through willing hands—and maybe yours are needed this time.
