Sisters in Christ: A Double Portion
Heard of Sisters in Christ Yet?

In addition to our low-maintenance, no-agenda fellowship gatherings on the last Wednesday of each month at Kekionga Crafting Co. (because food really does make fellowship better), we’re excited to add a few Saturday events to the mix as well.
On Saturday, January 31 at noon in the Cornerstone Room, one of our members will share her impressive collection of crafting supplies and guide us in creating handmade themed greeting cards. You can follow the theme or let your creativity run wild. Thanks to her generosity in supplying the materials, this event is free. Register using the button above or find it on the Events tab on the website. Not sure who you’d send a card to? That leads perfectly into our next opportunity.
If you’ve been around St. Peter’s for a while, you may remember Connecting Hearts, returning in February. This is a meaningful way for our church to care for one another. Participants “adopt” a shut-in or a member over 90 for the year, committing to pray for them, send occasional cards, remember birthdays, and offer a friendly greeting when you see them at church.
This month, these two efforts will overlap beautifully. Card-making with a purpose! How great is that?
We’re also planning another Saturday gathering: Easy Homemade Pasta on February 28 at noon in the Cornerstone Room Kitchen. A member will teach us how to make fresh pasta during this Make & Take / Make & Eat event. Space is limited to 15 participants, with a suggested $1–$5 donation the day of for ingredients. Each participant will also receive a small take-home gift, in addition to the pasta you make. Registration for this event will start in February. Keep an eye on The Hub for updates.
Whether you’ve been part of Sisters in Christ for a while or are just curious to join, this is a wonderful time to come as you are. Pull up a chair and enjoy laughter, faith, and fellowship.
*One thing that makes Sisters in Christ special is that we’re lay-led. There’s no one single leader, which helps share the load together. Everyone is invited to bring ideas, host activities, or share devotions. If you have something you’d love to offer, contact Amy Widener in the church office to reserve space and discuss next steps.
