What You Need to Know Before February 18th

We have a major season of our church year coming. It is the Lenten season. It starts on February 18th with our Ash Wednesday service at noon and 7 pm which continues through the Lenten season on Wednesdays.

For our Ash Wednesday service, we do have the imposition of ashes, which will start 15 minutes before service. We also have a wonderful way that our schools are participating with service. We'll see our children at the noon service so parents if you want to participate with your kids please join us then. We would love to have you. We also have communion at the Ash Wednesday service.

As a way to join our congregation together during this season we are also participating beyond our walls. We are having our students as well as our staff say the Lord's Prayer during worship at 12:30 every Wednesday. So, if you want to participate from wherever you are, please take about 20 seconds to say the Lord's Prayer at 12:30. You'll be joining all of those who are worshiping here at the noon service when you do that.

There's a lot of different ways of bringing the Lenten season into your spiritual life. We'll share those practices with you soon. You can find all of that information on the hub when it's posted at www.stpetersfw.org.

Each Wednesday, Pastor Danny receives an update from the survey company with statistics of how many members have taken the survey, percentage of men vs. women, and a few other pieces of demographical information. Below is the most recent update. We're 50% of the way to our goal of 330 members taking the survey! Please take the survey yourself and encourage others to invest the time.
