Lenten Preparation
(Feb 18th)
Ash Wednesday is February 18th. We will have both noon and 7 pm worship services along with the imposition of ashes beginning 15 minutes before service starts. Students from our Day School & Preschool will join us for the noon service. We invite their families to join them at that time too!
Upcoming Lenten Series: LIVING WATERS
Prepare yourself for Holy Week by taking a Lenten journey through this year’s midweek series that uses water in Bible events to teach and comfort God’s people in the gift of Holy Baptism. Each week centers on an Old Testament reading as the preaching text, paired with an Epistle and Gospel that echo its themes and show who God is, how the resurrection brings life out of death, and how Baptism joins us to Christ’s saving work.
Sisters in Christ
Throw these dates on your calendar and grab a friend or other St. Peter's Sister as we carve out a little time to know each other beyond the pew. (Have a "thing" you do? Let's get you on the calendar. Let Amy know.)
- Wednesday, Feb 25th at 5:00 pm Kekionga Craft Co, 7328 Maysville Rd. Come & go. Enjoy a little fellowship, prayer idea, and grab something to eat if you’d like.
- Saturday, Feb 28th at Noon in the Cornerstone Room. We’re making homemade pasta! Member, Miranda Meyer, will teach us how to make fresh pasta during this Make & Take / Make & Eat event. Space is limited to 15 participants, with a suggested $1–$5 donation for ingredients. Each participant will also receive a small take-home gift, in addition to the pasta you make. Register online at www.stpetersfw.org/events.
Senior Saints
The Senior Saints committee is meeting now to put together the annual program list for the Lunch N’ Learn events and fun outings. If you’d like to join this committee, they’re currently looking for people who like to have fun with fresh ideas. Reach out to Tony Acosta or Larry & Carol Goeglein to get connected.
Staff Recognition
Our annual opportunity for the congregation to share their appreciation to the staff who met milestone years in service to St. Peter’s during the 2025 year will be during the 10:30 service March 8th. Soon, you’ll see a display in the Ministry Center where you can give notes of thanks.
