Remembering The Church Triumphant

St. John wrote in the book of Revelation: "And I heard a voice from heaven saying, 'Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' 'Blessed indeed,' says the Spirit, 'that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!'"

In joyful expectation of the resurrection to life eternal, we remember our departed family and friends who have gone before us in the faith and all those who are in our hearts and minds this day.

(We remember the sainted of our St. Peter’s family since last year's All Saints' Day in 2024.)

St. Peter's was given a special gift from one of those named above. Joylyne Dickerson's book "The Tale of Tom Turkey" was published by her family following her passing. They purchased a copy to put in each of the busy bags on our Children's Wall for the month of November. If you would like to purchase one of these books click here. A portion of the proceeds will be gifted to St. Peter's.

For those of us this side of Heaven, we not only remember each of these names, but it brings to mind all of those we long to see again. If you are grieving a recent loss or even one of many years, this is the beginning of, so often, a very difficult time of year. Take one of the opportunities we offer this year to connect with others who know what loss feels like, and working through it with other Christians.
