Agnus Dei Liturgical Arts

Sunday, October 4th  --  Ministry Center

Agnus Dei Liturgical Arts will have a display of liturgical artwork, greeting cards and Christmas cards available in the Ministry Center for purchase by Lutheran liturgical artist Kelly Schumacher. Bible Studies (click for details)

Sunday's Adult Bible Class continues through the History of the Church. Tuesday Ladies, Thursday Men's, & Thursday Lunch Break Bible studies are starting back to their regular schedule with new topics.

Coffee Clutch (a parent group)

Every Wednesday morning starting this week in the Cornerstone Room

This group of moms (and dads) who want to hang out once the kids have been dropped off at school and wait for chapel to start. Bring the littlest ones to play together, enjoy a hot brew, and fellowship.

Confirmation Retreat

Oct. 16-18th @ Camp Lutherhoma for all 8th Graders Registration Already Begun

• Public School Confirmation has started for 7th & 8th grades students and their parents every Sunday at 9:15 am in the Large Conference Room.

Collections/Fundraiser (ongoing) 

The Compassionate Care Collection is collecting paper goods for the Seminary Food Co-op. Paper towels, toilet paper, & garbage bags.

Special Monthly Offering this month is for mites supporting national mission grants through Lutheran Women in Mission.

Drums Alive

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30-7:30 pm in the Auxiliary Gym (school). Enter through the cafeteria door. 

Euchre Tournament

Sunday, October 4 at 4:30 pm --  School cafeteria

Join us for cards, food, and friendly competition!

Bring one bag of candy per person to support Trunk or Treat at Fall Fest. Come with a partner—or we’ll find one for you. Come for the Euchre. Stay for the hot dogs. Leave knowing your candy helped fuel a whole lot of trick-or-treating!

Ehle Anniversary Open House

Sunday, October 18th, 1-5 pm (Come & Go)  -- Cornerstone Room

Members, Tike & Verna Ehle, are celebrating 70 years of marriage in Christ. Their family is hosting an open house in the Cornerstone Room in their honor and inviting the congregation to join them in the celebrations. Pop in and say hello.

Fall Fest

Saturday, October 10 after church (around 6 pm)  --  Outdoors south of parking lot

Join us for an evening of Trunk or Treating, hotdogs & cider, fire-pits and Jack-O'-Lanterns. We'd also love to see all areas of our ministry coming together to make this event great for St. Peter's and for our surrounding community. There are 3 things we'd love your help with.

1. Bring Candy - Lot's of it!  We're 2 weeks out and want to be generous with our candy giving.
2. Decorate a trunk for Trunk or Treat - we want to line the drive with lots of fun decorated cars.
3. Sign up to serve in another area of need.

This group of ladies meets the last Monday of each month. Join them starting Monday, Sept. 28th. Come & go from 9 am - 2 pm in the Cornerstone Room

Quilt Auction

Running Saturday, October 10th - Sunday, October 18th
Our quilters and knotters will have the Ministry Center draped with beautiful quilts ready to be bid on! Proceeds will go to shipping quilts and to be given as mites in support of the mission grants given through Lutheran Women in Mission. Final bids will be taken after the 10:30 service October 18th.

Serving in the Church

Offering your talents or acts of service is often something we all want to do, but not always sure where to start. Opportunities present themselves, but it's hard to remember them all or keep track of something that called to you at one point. The Serve tab in the Realm Connect app continues to add areas that are open and looking for someone just like you. Log in on your computer or through the app on your phone and scroll through the Roles to see if one is a good fit for you. Remember, signing up doesn't commit you to it, but does share that you'd like to be contacted about it.

Sisters in Christ: Fall Pumpkin Craft

Saturday, October 3rd @ 10 am in the Cornerstone Room

Join Alyssa Adams, a repeat Sisters crafting teacher, for a very classy project using unique buttons to make a pumpkin on canvas. They are so cute! She’ll have all the supplies ready for you, but do register so we’re sure to have enough. Bonus sidequest: head to an antique store together afterwards to find the perfect picture frame for your new decor! Bring a snack to share!

We also gather the last Wednesday Tuesday each month (October 27th) at 5:00 pm Kekionga Craft Co, 7328 Maysville Rd. Come & go. Enjoy a little fellowship, prayer idea, and grab something to eat if you’d like. 

Youth Groups

High School: 2nd & 4th Sundays @ 6 pm in the Cornerstone Room

Middle School: Starts back up Wednesday, October 7th during HOPE Sessions. Come have a family meal together, then stay for Youth Group.

Young Adults

Second THIRD Sunday, October 18th Dinner & Devo with a "Kabob Theme" for dinner. We'll have the meats, but bring an item that can go on a skewer!  No registration required, but we'd love to know you're coming.

   *Hint - hint - we're booking a Game Show Experience for Sunday, Nov. 8th. Registration open soon!
