St. Peter’s Youth head to “The Big Easy”

Every three years, the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) hosts the National Youth Gathering—a five-day event focused on worship, learning, and celebrating our shared Lutheran faith. This year’s Gathering will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana,

from July 19–23.


St. Peter’s youth, accompanied by their dedicated adult leaders, will be joining more than 20,000 other LCMS youth and adults for what promises to be a memorable and spiritually enriching experience. The theme for this year’s Gathering is ENDURE, based on Hebrews 12:1–3. Each morning, participants will engage in Bible study centered on this powerful message of perseverance and faith.


As we prepare for this journey, we ask for your prayers—not only for the safety and spiritual growth of our youth but also for the adult leaders who will be enduring the New Orleans heat, late nights, energetic concerts, and countless steps throughout the city, all in joyful service to our young people.


Most importantly, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the members of St. Peter’s Church. Your continued support—through prayers, generous donations, and encouraging words—has made this opportunity possible. We are truly blessed by your faithfulness and generosity.
