Pam Launer's Retirement Celebration

May 19, 2025

When considering the example of a servant leader, one face easily comes to mind... Mrs. Pam Launer and her ever present smile.

After serving 35 of her 40 years in Lutheran Schools, Pam has decided to retire from her vocation as teacher. St. Peter's has certainly been blessed by her years of dedicated service. Pam taught preschool for three years and was St. Peter's Early Childhood Director before becoming our 4th grade teacher. She has served on the Preschool Board and Nominating Team, taught Sunday School, led VBS Bible Story Time, developed and led Kids of the Kingdom, and more. While at the day school, she served on call committees, too many school committees to count, Drop Everything and Read days, National Lutheran Schools Week committees, theme committees, iLearn hype team, and crew celebrations. She even helped out in the Church Office last summer. The list could go on and on. She may be departing from her days of teaching, but her students (and their parents) will never forget the impact she had on their lives.

We would like to invite you to join us in showing appreciation for Pam's years of dedicated service. You should have already received a special letter in your mailbox sent to members of the congregation. Please be sure to read through that. We will honor her during our worship services held on Sunday, May 25th with a reception following on the front porch after the 10:30 service.

"Well done, good and faithful servant!" - Matthew 25:21
