Physical Wellness: Pickleball & Drums

Move, Play & Try Something New This Fall

We’re thankful for the many ways God has given us to care for our bodies, enjoy fellowship, and welcome our community through St. Peter’s. Two of our physical wellness opportunities recently celebrated milestone years, and we want to take a moment to thank the people who make them possible!

This summer marked five years of Drums Alive, offered twice a week by certified instructor Alicia Rodenbeck. Alicia brings an encouraging, energetic workout set to Christian music, and we’re grateful for the time and enthusiasm she shares with our congregation and community.

Pickleball also celebrated five years! Thank you to Tony and Tina Acosta for faithfully managing the courts, equipment, and freewill donations that help keep this opportunity available. Pickleball meets Sundays from 5–7 pm in the Main Gym.

Both activities are free, equipment and instruction are provided, and all abilities are welcome. You don’t have to be an athlete (or even know what you’re doing) to give them a try!

Drums Alive returns Tuesday, September 1, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30–7:30 pm in the school's Auxiliary Gym. Enter through the cafeteria doors beginning at 6:15 pm.

And this fall, Pickleball will be part of our HOPE Sessions, which move to Wednesday evenings beginning October 7. Watch The Hub for dinner and class details.

Maybe this is the fall you try something new. Come move, play, laugh, and meet some new people along the way!
