Realm App: Serve

Staying Connected at St. Peter’s: Our Website and the Realm Connect App

At St. Peter’s, staying connected matters, not just to what’s happening, but to one another as one family in Christ. That’s why we use both our public website and the Realm Connect app. Each serves a different purpose, and together they help us communicate clearly, care well for our members, and keep our doors open to the wider community.

Our Website: Open to All

Our website, www.stpetersfw.org, is our public-facing digital front door. It’s where The Hub lives, and it’s accessible to anyone, anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is where members and visitors alike can find:

* News & Notes articles

* Worship details and livestreams

* Upcoming events and activities

* Bible studies and fellowship opportunities

* Collections & Fundraisers

* It's updated at least twice each week

Because the website is public, it’s also an important ministry tool. It allows people in our community, especially those seeking a church home, to learn who we are, what we believe, and how they might connect beyond the pew. In short, the website helps us share Christ’s love outward.

Realm Connect: For Our Church Family

The Realm Connect app is different. It is secure and password-protected and available only to members of St. Peter’s. Out of care for privacy, personal information is never shared on our public website. Realm allows us to gather all member-specific information in one safe place, including:

* Prayer cards

* Birthday and anniversary information

* Board of Directors reports

* Member-only announcements

* The church directory

* Giving history and special offerings

* Group communications and chat features

* Event registration and reminders

* Serving opportunities

* Church contact details and service times

Think of Realm as your "member connection hub" designed to support communication, care, and involvement within our church family.

If you prefer not to use the app, you can still access all of these features by logging into Realm through the Realm button at the bottom of The Hub on your computer or phone.

Help Getting Started

If you’ve never set up a Realm username and password, help is readily available. There’s a short how-to video at the bottom of The Hub, printed instructions near the kiosks in the Ministry Center, and the Church Office is always happy to help troubleshoot, just give us a call.

A Special Focus: Serving Together

We’re especially excited about the continued development of the Serving tab in Realm. This section opens up new possibilities for connecting your God-given gifts with meaningful ministry.

In Realm, you can:

* Update your Serving Profile with skills and interests

* Share when you’re available (or unavailable) to serve

* Browse current needs by role or ministry team

* Request more information or sign up right away

As we move forward in Phase 2 of our Strategic Plan, we have two hopes:

  1. That every member updates their Serving Profile, helping us better match people with opportunities they’ll truly enjoy.
  2. That ministry needs are clearly listed so you can see what’s needed, when, and how to get involved without waiting for a phone call.

Our goal is simple: to help you find a "passion with a purpose," a way to serve that fills your cup and builds up the body of Christ.

Together, our website and Realm Connect help us stay informed, connected, and engaged, loving God, loving one another, and serving with joy.
