Help with Reception, Hospitality, and Spiriual Care
St. Peter's is preparing to host an incredible outreach opportunity to the community of Fort Wayne. Opening a clinic is unlike anything we've ever done before, but we have been planning with Austin Bradtmueller, CEO of CCHC, and with your help will bring the love of Jesus through much needed healthcare.
CCHC fully funds itself, but as a good host does, we want to provide a personal and welcoming space for guests. This is where you come in. If you can see yourself serving in this mission, talk one of the folks on the steering committee (Danielle Gernhardt, Karen Shadle, Ashley Goldsberry, or Brian Bradtmueller), call the church office, or log into Realm Connect and sign up via the Serve Tab.

Callers Needed
We're looking for compassionate volunteers to help prepare for this year's Angel Tree program by serving as caregiver outreach team members. This important role involves contacting caregivers in late October and early November to gather gift wish information for the children we support. The information collected helps us create our Angel Tree tags, making it easy for church members to purchase meaningful gifts for each child.
This is not an immediate commitment. Volunteers will receive training, helpful tips, and the support they need before any calls are made. Whether you're an experienced volunteer or looking for a new way to give back, this is a wonderful, easy opportunity to make a difference behind the scenes.
A simple phone call can help ensure every child's wishes are represented and every family feels remembered during the holiday season.
If you enjoy connecting with people, have a caring heart, and can spare a little time this fall, we'd love to have you join our Angel Tree team.
Together, let's start the season of giving early and help make Christmas a little brighter for the children and families we serve. Use your Realm Connect app and find these options to sign up under the Serve tab, or reach out to Alicia Weaver at weavers2020@gmail.com or the church office reception@stpetersfw.org for further information or questions.

Provide Meals or Request One
When someone in our congregation struggles, it's hard to know what to do or how to help. Providing a meal for someone can be such a boost for morale or even necessary when mobility is an issue. This is an actionable step you can do to take to care for our St. Peter's family. Contact member, Emily Weible, Mary Koenemann, or the Church Office. We'll help get you connected to receive a notification for when meals are needed. You can go through the same route if you or someone you know within the St. Peter's family is in need of meals for a short time.

We Are a Praying Congregation
God asks us to pray unceasingly and we're so thankful to those on our PrayER Team who receive prayer requests to pray for each of them. If you'd like to be part of the PrayER Team ministry, click the button below to sign up. Let us know if you prefer request to come to your email or straight to your phone via text.

A Team to Pray With
Prayer Partners is a new PrayER Team initiative to go in pairs to our St. Peter's shut-ins and those in nursing homes and pray with people face-to-face. While our pastors get to visit with this same group of people, this is to bring the Christian fellowship out to our people who crave and long for the days these intereactions were normal. It's a way for the Church to care for the Church.

Stay Connected to your Chrch Family
Members! We have collected names of our young adult St. Peter's members who are in college, military, trade school or something similar that has moved them into this next phase of life. Sometime in August, we will have those names available to be adopted. Keep an eye out on the News & Notes and Ministry Center for that opportunity to show Christian love and support to those experiencing life beyond "home."
Operational Support
Are you looking to serve your church in a way that cares quietly, has a consistant expectation, and something you can plan for? Operation Supports are vital to this ministry and often overlooked as ways to gift time and talents. Prayerfully consider one of these.

Music Ministry

Pushing Buttons for the Lord
Our AV team is awesome! The job difficulty spans from pushing a button to advance slides to learning how to change camera angles during a live stream service. All of our services need at least one person who turns on the tvs and advances our slides from an "already created" PowerPoint presentation. If you love pushing buttons, this one's for you!

From Mowing to Snow Blowing
We are so blessed with a large property, but being good stewards of such a large space take a dedicated group of people to mow, edge, pull weeds, mulch, shovel snow, and care for the cemeteries. If you lawn care is your love language, we'd love to hear from you.

Welcome Worshipers Online
This is a way to care from home or we can set you up in the church office. Your job is just to watch the Sunday 10:30 worship service online through our YouTube page. "Be there" about 10 minute early to type in a welcome message, take prayer requests and email them to the pastors, and help those tuning in feel connected.

Description Title
We have several incredible teams of members that rotate different jobs throughout each month to keep our Sanctuary and the surrounding area clean and ready for worship in our most sacred space. Recently, one of our teams had to step down from running the floor machine, dry mop, and dusting. If you're interested in being part of this amazing set of people who care for God's house behind the scenes, fill out the form through the button below and our coordinators Devon & Alicia Weaver will reach out to you.

Portals of Prayer & Hopeful Living
If you would like to sponsor the Large Print Portals of Prayer, regular print of Portals of Prayer, or the Hopeful Living for 2027, please call the church office to share those details or get questions answered.
