Sisters in Christ Summer Plans
Join your sisters beyond the pew...
Sisters in Christ has been an incredible journey of growth over the last 3 1/2 years since it began in 2022. We love how it's developed into gathering twice each month and led by a different woman of the congregation each time. It's wonderful to have FUN together from chatting around dinner to crafting, playing games, cooking lessons, field trips and more! Each idea is unique to the person hosting. (Wanna host? Call Amy to get on the calendar and help with promotions.)
As a woman at St. Peter's, YOU are invited to join us! Most of the events are free, or a small free will donation, or bring supplies to share. Everyone brings a snack, which means we eat well, and share recipes.
Through the warmer months we continue! The last Wednesday of each month we meet up at Kekionga around 5 pm when they open for chit-chat and chicken. Add it to your calendar on repeat right now before you forget. Then check out these next events:
- JUNE: This
Saturday, June 13th at 10 am in the Cornerstone room, come craft with us as Alyssa Adams shows us how to make "Forever Plants" for FREE! She'll have all the supplies ready for you.
REGISTER HERE - JULY: Wednesday, July 15th at 6 pm in the Cornerstone room, learn how to make homemade mozzarellacheese with Miranda Meyer and professional chef from Blue Flame. You'll also learn how to make homemade pizza and snag some easy prep Meal Train recipes for your freezer.
- AUGUST: TBD (Either 8/8 or 8/15): Learn how to sew with our very own Quilters! They're practically professionals, but are excited to pass on their knowledge of simple hand and machine sewing techniques. Already know how to sew? Great! Bring the project you started, but never seem to have time to work on. We'll do it together!
- SEPTEMBER: Friday, September 18th at 6 pm in the Cornerstone room, craft with us for a special "Book Folded Angel" project that will make something special, led by Alicia Weaver.
