Special Voter's Meeting: Teacher Designation

Special Voter's Meeting Announcement

The BOD is announcing a Special Voters' Meeting to be held Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 in the sanctuary immediately following the 7:00 pm Lenten worship service. All supporting materials can be found in the Ministry Center.

The purpose of the meeting is to bring a name to the congregation regarding our 6th grade call committee. After prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, the committee is very pleased to unanimously announce Hollie Johnson as the candidate. Due to the fact Hollie will be a new graduate in 2025, we will be voting on extending a "designation call" to Hollie rather than extending a traditional "call" as would be the case with a rostered candidate from another congregation. Below is a note for clarification:

NOTE: Designation of a candidate (candidate accepts designation) means that the Placement Director has assigned that candidate to that particular Calling entity for consideration of their Call. Further search for a position for the candidate stops and notification is given to all other Calling entities that might be considering the candidate that the candidate is no longer available. For the Calling entity, designation of a candidate to them means that any further search for candidates has ended until the candidate reaches a decision on the Call.
