No Angels Left
Angel Tree Ministry — Sharing Christ’s Love
This year, we are honored to serve:
- 109 children and 44 families through the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree
- 15 children through Fort Wayne Victim Assistance
There are ZERO Angels left!
If you are one of the blessed who picked up an angel from the tree, please return the wrapped gift by Sunday, December 14 by the end of worship, under the Angel Tree in the Ministry Center. Be sure to attach the peel-and-stick angel tag to the wrapped gift. Deliveries begin after the 10:30 service on Sunday, December 14 so there's no wiggle room for late arrivals. Each child will also receive an age-appropriate gospel booklet, reminding them of the true gift of Christmas.
For kids with parents serving time, every day can feel like a life sentence. They didn’t commit a crime—but they’re paying the consequences. But you can help families change all that. Do you know how these Angels support families in our local community? Learn more at their website HERE.
Every person is made in the image of God. No life is beyond His reach. Founded in 1976, Prison Fellowship® is the nation’s largest Christian nonprofit equipping the Church to serve currently and formerly incarcerated people and their families, and to advocate for justice and human dignity both inside and outside of prison.
The Victim Assistance (VA) program of FWPD was established in 1981. The program provides comprehensive crime victim services to the City of Fort Wayne and surrounding communities. Advocates and volunteers passionately work to provide information to crime victims to reduce re-victimization as victims navigate through the criminal justice system. Primary and secondary crime victims receive direct services to help stabilize their lives and meet their immediate needs. The outreach program initiates contact to inform victims about available services and their rights as crime victims and survivors.
