Strategic Update: Phase 2
Vision: Phase 2
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Over the past few months, our strategic planning process has been deeply encouraging. Through the listening sessions, Congregational Life Survey, and Leadership Summit, we have heard from many members who care deeply about the future of St. Peter’s. Again and again, we heard hope for a congregation that is growing stronger in faith, more connected in fellowship, and more confident in its shared mission.
Several important themes have emerged. We heard a desire to deepen belonging across the congregation by creating clearer pathways for guests and new households, strengthening fellowship, and helping more people find their place in the life of St. Peter’s. We also heard the importance of growing in unity across church, school, and preschool, so that these ministries are experienced more fully as one life together in Christ.
Just as clearly, we heard a strong desire to invest in lifelong discipleship: encouraging faith formation in the home, supporting children and youth, and inviting more members into service and leadership. Alongside that, many emphasized the importance of wise stewardship, thoughtful care for our facilities, and deeper engagement with our community for the sake of the Gospel.
Our leadership team is now working to bring these themes together into a strategic plan that reflects what we have heard and helps guide the next season of ministry at St. Peter’s. So please continue to pray that the Lord would guide St. Peter’s in faithfulness, unity, and joyful mission.
There is much to be thankful for and much to look forward to, as we continue to seek His guidance together. Thank you for your prayers, your feedback, and your love for St. Peter’s. Your voice has been an important part of this process, and I am grateful for the way this congregation continues to walk forward together in faith!
In Christ,
Pastor Danny
