Women in Mission: Lutheran World Relief

No Quilt Auction This Year - But the Mission Continues!

In joyful gratitude for the blessings of the Lord and the generosity of His people, our Knotters & Quilters will not be holding our annual Quilt Auction this October.

Thanks be to God, last year’s auction was so successful that the funds raised are still being used to support our ongoing mission. Because of your faithful giving, we are able to send an increased number of quilts this year through Lutheran World Relief (LWR), sharing warmth, comfort, and Christ's love with those in need around the world.

But that’s not all. Our St. Peter’s Women in Mission are also sending out school kits this fall, thanks to your generous donations to our Compassionate Care Collection. These kits, assembled just last week, are filled with essential supplies that will equip children across the globe for learning—and remind them that they are not forgotten.

While we’ll miss gathering for the Quilt Auction this year, the mission of mercy and witness goes on. During this LWML month of October, we invite you to continue supporting international missions:

  • Drop your mites or monthly offerings in the little white church in the Ministry Center
  • Give online through our website HERE
  • Or mark your regular offering envelope with a note for LWML

Together, we remain steadfast in proclaiming Christ’s love—by serving our neighbors both near and far.

"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace." —1 Peter 4:10
