Young Adults
There's More Happening Than Just 'Having Fun'
Being in your 20s or 30s can be a funny season of life. Some days you feel like you have everything figured out; other days you’re wondering if you remembered to eat lunch. Your friendships, careers, families, faith, and future are all growing and changing at the same time. That’s why having a place to belong matters.
Our Young Adult ministry is creating opportunities for people in their 20s and 30s-ish: singles, couples, longtime members, new faces, and everyone in between. Building friendships, enjoy fellowship, and grow together in Christ.
And yes, they do have a lot of fun. This fall’s lineup includes opportunities to get together, laugh, compete, eat, and make memories. But the real value goes deeper than the events themselves.
As we live out our strategic plan’s goal of Investing in Lifelong Discipleship, we want to invest in young adults not simply as participants, but as future leaders in the life of St. Peter’s. Friendships formed now can become relationships that encourage faith, strengthen families, develop gifts, and build confidence to serve others.
Maybe you’ve been thinking, “I’d like to go, but I won’t know anyone.” Go anyway. You don’t have to know people before you come. You come so you can get to know people.
Be brave. Come by yourself. Bring a friend. Try something new.
You might show up for the activity and discover something much better: a place where you belong, people who will know your name, and a faith community you can grow with for years to come.
