2026 Fall Voters Meeting
Plan to Attend Our Fall Voters Assembly
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Our Fall Voters Assembly will be held on Sunday, November 1, immediately following the 10:30 am worship service in the Sanctuary. I hope you will make plans to join us as we give thanks for God’s blessings and attend to the business of our congregation.
Attached is a packet to help you prepare for the meeting. It includes written ministry reports highlighting the work taking place throughout our church, school, and preschool, along with a brief financial report. You will also find the minutes from our May 17 Voters Assembly and the agenda for our upcoming meeting.
I would especially encourage you to review two action items that will come before the congregation for consideration and approval:
- Synodical Constitutional Amendment: We will consider a resolution to ratify an amendment to the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod’s Constitution concerning the procedures for calling special district conventions in circumstances of urgent necessity.
- Reallocation of Endowment Proceeds: We will consider a recommendation to redirect $7,000 in previously approved endowment funds from restroom sensor replacements and sanctuary fan improvements toward painting expenses throughout our church facilities. The original projects would be deferred for future consideration.
Both proposed resolutions are included in the packet for your review.
I also encourage you to spend some time reading the ministry reports. They offer an encouraging picture of the many ways God is at work among us and how our shared ministry continues to grow as we put our strategic plan into action.
Please take a few minutes to review the packet before November 1. Coming prepared will help us have a productive meeting, make thoughtful decisions, and use our time wisely. After all, there’s no reason we can’t conduct the business of the Church efficiently and still enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon!
Thank you for your continued prayers, participation, and faithful support of St. Peter’s. I look forward to seeing you on November 1.
In Christ,
Pastor Danny Eggold
