Phase 1: Listening

As we look ahead to a new season of ministry at St. Peter’s, we are beginning a congregation-wide journey shaped by the words of Colossians 3:14–15. God calls us to be “one body” bound together in Christ’s love, guided by His peace, and filled with gratitude. That unity begins with listening, truly listening, to God and to one another.

Phase 1 of our new Strategic Plan is simply called Listening. Before we begin shaping goals or making plans, we want to hear from you. St. Peter’s is a church family with many generations, stories, and experiences, and each voice matters. Your hopes, your concerns, your dreams for our ministry and mission all help us discern the direction the Lord is leading.

Next month we will host several Listening Forums in the Cornerstone Room to make sure everyone has an opportunity to share. We will also launch a congregation-wide “Life Survey” in early January. Both of these tools will help us better understand where we are as a congregation and how we can grow together.

This journey begins in prayer, in unity, and in gratitude for the family God has made us to be. More details will be coming soon—stay tuned!

Until then, put one of these dates of the Listening Forums in your calendar today:

  • Sat. Jan 10th or 17th from 3–4:30 pm
  • Sun. Jan 11th or 18th from 12–1:30 pm
  • Mon. Jan 19th from 5:30–7 pm
