Call Accepted: Janet Bahr

Dear Members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and School,

Grace and peace to you in Christ Jesus.

After much prayer, reflection and thoughtful discernment, I am writing to formally accept the call to serve as assistant principal at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and School. I am truly grateful for this opportunity and feel both humbled and excited to be a part of the ministry team.

I was inspired as I watched firsthand the teachers in action when I came to visit and I am even more excited to be a part of it as I learn more about St. Peter’s—its students, families, faculty, and the unique ways God is at work within your church and school. I look forward to supporting and partnering with your amazing staff, encouraging excellence in teaching and learning, and helping in any way I can to further this mission. I feel strongly about using every opportunity to direct people to Jesus. It will be a privilege to join you in sharing the love of Jesus with students and their families, and to take part in shaping lives through Christ-centered education.

Thank you for this amazing opportunity. I ask for your prayers during this time of transition as I finish the Lord’s work in my current calling, sell and buy houses, and all that comes with the move. I look forward to beginning this new chapter together and to seeing all that God has in store for St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and School.
