Christian Community Health Care (CCHC) Town Hall

Sunday, July 19th during the Bible Study hour @ 9:15 am in the Cornerstone Room

You've been watching the videos and reading the articles about our new partnership with CCHC and the clinic we'd like to open starting in the late fall, but you'd love to know more! Join Pastor Nate & Austin Bradtmueller for a little Q&A, learn the plan, and what's still needed for this incredible outreach opportunity for our neighborhood and the community of St. Peter's membership.

Church Office Closed

Friday, July 3rd for observance of Independence Day.

Collections/Fundraiser (ongoing)

  • The Compassionate Care Collection is prepping hygiene kits for the Lutheran World Relief: The LWR collection will be through July and August--details can be found on the LWR.org/kits site or HERE. Needed are: light weight bath sized towels (between 20" x 40" to 27" x52"), bath-size soap bars in original wrapper, adult toothbrush, sturdy comb, metal nail clippers--all items must be new and NOT have religious symbols or patriotic decoration.
  • Special Monthly Offering: We continue to collect for our Heritage Collection which is an exciting venture not only to meet the requirements for the grant given to us by The Lutheran Foundation to create an appropriate space for our historical archives, but also for us to begin preparations for our 175th anniversary as St. Peter's! Learn more HERE.

Cruise-In Car Show

Friday, July 10th from 5-8 pm (awards start at 7:30 pm)

A chance to fellowship, open doors to our neighbors, and have a little family fun this summer - St. Peter's Cruise-In is the place to park! All vintage or unique cars and bikes welcome to spark some fantastic conversation. Only $20 (cash) to park and register your vehicle. If you're there to just look, it's a free event.

Want to get behind the scenes? Contact AJ or Jess Arnett at 260-415-6550 or j.a.arnett10@gmail.com

Check out our event on Facebook HERE, then click that you're going and share with a friend. Feel free to add to the discussion or share a picture of the car or bike you might bring!

If you're cruisin' in, there will be a photographer on site to take a picture of you and your car that we'll post on our FB event page. Stay tuned for more details as they unfold!

High School Youth & Parent Meeting

Sunday, July 19th from 6-8 pm in the Cornerstone Room

We invite all high school youth and their parents—including our incoming freshmen and their families—to join us for an evening of dinner and discussion as we look ahead to the upcoming year of youth ministry at St. Peter’s.

This gathering will provide an opportunity to share ideas, discuss plans for the year, and hear your thoughts. Youth, we would love to know what activities, events, and experiences you enjoy and look forward to as part of the St. Peter’s youth group. Parents, we welcome your input on what you hope your child will learn, experience, and gain through participation in the youth group this year.

Sub sandwiches and beverages will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!

Middle School Girls Only/Boys Only Event

Saturday, July 25th - Meet from noon - 5 pm in the school cafeteria/Jury Pool.

Calling All Incoming 6th–8th Graders! (This event is just for you!)

Join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship as we head to Jury Pool to enjoy some time in the sun. Afterward, we will return to St. Peter’s for a time of devotion and discussion.

Ministry Coordinator Kami Jo Mogelvang will lead the girls in a devotion, while our Seminarian, Christian Salemink, will spend time with the boys for their own devotional study and discussion. Following these sessions, everyone will come together for dinner and fellowship.

Please RSVP to the church office or by emailing kmogelvang@stpetersfw.org. We look forward to seeing you there!

PrayER Team BBQ

Sunday, July 26 after 10:30 service (noonish)

Our PrayER Teams are getting a little glow-up and some new initiatives are on the horizon as this team partners with our school and preschool. Come learn more, eat with us, let the kids play, and see how you fit in with the vision of St. Peter's as a praying congregation.

Senior Saints

July: Summer Break, but be sure to order tickets for September’s Blue Gate Theatre outing by July 19th. Register HERE or come by the Church Office.

Sisters in Christ

Wednesday, July 15th from 6-8 pm in the Cornerstone Room

Ever wanted to learn how to make homemade mozzarella cheese? Me too! Member, Miranda Meyer, will lead us in an easy recipe for fresh cheese. We’ll also be making pizzas (with our fresh mozzarella) to eat and to take home and freeze. Miranda will be collaborating with Blu Flame’s Chef Renee who will be here onsite with us to share her cooking knowledge. They’ll also have a take-home gift for anyone who registers. The pasta class Miranda did for us sold out! Limited space is available for this one so be sure to get yourself registered early! This event does take a few ingredients so we’re asking for donations at the door of $1-5 to cover the cost. REGISTER HERE

We also gather the last Wednesday each month (July 29th) at 5:00 pm Kekionga Craft Co, 7328 Maysville Rd. Come & go. Enjoy a little fellowship, prayer idea, and grab something to eat if you’d like.

Young Adults

Tickets have already been purchased for our next gathering at the Tin Caps game July 5th, but join us August 12th for a cook out and yardgames @ Pastor Nate's house, hosted by Ben & Gwyn Corley. That's the deadline to register for September Combat Ops Lazer Tag. Don't miss out! Get on the text thread to be sent updates and invites. Text 'stpfw' to 94000 and follow the prompts.
