Pastor McDowell Returns a Divine Call

Dear St. Peter’s,
After much prayer and deliberation, I am returning my Call to Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Blanc, Michigan and will retain my Call here to St. Peter’s. I sincerely appreciate your prayers and conversations. You have been so very supportive to my family and me. I am extremely thankful for the ministry God continues to give me here. Please keep Faith Lutheran in your prayers as they continue their Call process.

God bless your Tuesday and all that you do.
I have received a Divine Call from Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Blanc, Michigan. They are calling me as Senior Pastor working with their ministry team. For clarity, I was not looking for a new position nor actively putting my name out on Call lists. It is my position to listen to these inquiries to understand the will of the Spirit.
As Lyndi and I deliberate this Call, we ask for your prayers. Please, pray for guidance, wisdom, and that the Lord would clearly make known His will. Continue to keep our church in your prayers especially for her continued ministry, the filling of our Senior Pastor vacancy, and the work of our Call Team. Please, also pray for Faith Lutheran Church, Grand Blanc, and her ministry, as we are called to pray for the entire ministry of God (Ephesians 6:18).
Lyndi and I, along with our children, will pray for discernment with God’s grace and for the two ministries as well.
May the Lord give guidance to us all,
