Updated Bible Studies
Considering which Bible Study to attend this season?
These studies are listed in order as we go through the week. You can find this list and updated descriptions as studies change through the Bible Studies button on the Hub.
Sunday Morning: Pastor Adam McDowell (Starts Sept. 7th)
9:15 am – Cornerstone Room – Coffee & Treats
Pastor McDowell will follow the lectionary and dive into one or more of our readings for that weekend. It’s a wonderful way to either prepare for worship or go a little deeper with the message after worship.
Public School Confirmation: Pastor Nate Widener (Starts Sept. 7th)
Sunday, 9:15 am – Large Conference Room
Students in 7th or 8th grade, not enrolled in our Day School, will meet weekly to learn why we believe what we believe, go through the Small Catechism together, and have opportunities to ask their questions. This is a two year program. A parent will need to attend with their child so they can go through such an important time in their faith life together.
Ladies Tuesday Morning: Barb Borchers (Starts Sept. 9th)
9:30-11 am – Large Conference Room
The Tuesday Ladies Bible Study will begin its Fall session on Tuesday, September 9, at 9:30 am in the large conference room. Join us for Embracing Joy, where we will discover one of the shortest, most overlooked books of the Old Testament--Habakkuk. In the ancient message of this prophet of God we will find joy-infused hope for today's difficulties and tomorrow's uncertainties.
Tuesday Night HOPE: Pastors/Staff/Volunteers (Starts Sept. 9th)
5:30 Dinner – 6:15 Family Devotion – 6:30 Classes

Studying the Bible isn’t just an intellectual exercise—it speaks directly to the real struggles we face. Every class we offer is designed with people in mind, people we’ve been praying for. We think about you—your questions, your concerns, your hopes. You wonder about love and marriage, about death and destruction, about your children’s faith and what it will look like as they grow.
This Fall, our classes are here to bring you peace, comfort, and practical tools for your everyday life. Do you ever worry about what your kids believe? We offer classes that help them express their love for God in their own words. Does it feel like Satan is closer than you’d like? We have a class that equips you with God’s gifts to send him packing. Are you longing for deeper, more meaningful relationships? Explore the very first relationship God created and how it still shapes ours today. And when you face the pain of something lost forever, we have a class that fills you with lasting hope. Join us tomorrow and “Sit at the Well,” where you’ll receive the living water God provides for the real challenges of life.

Confessing Christ: The Nicene Creed at 1700
The Nicene Creed has anchored the Christian faith for 1,700 years, and yet it can be easily taken for granted. Join us as we deepen our understanding of the faith we proclaim together.
