Livestream
Why We're Moving our Livestream from Facebook to YouTube

At St. Peter’s, an important part of our ministry is caring for our shut-ins and members of our church family who are unable to attend worship in person. We remain committed to making sure they stay connected to the life of the church in meaningful and comforting ways. Whether it's bringing them communion, delivering Coloring for Christ pages, writing letters from our school children, or making personal visits, we want our shut-ins to know they are loved and not forgotten.
Another important way we care for our shut-ins is by helping them access our worship services through our weekly livestreams. However, we've learned that many of them are having trouble watching the services on Facebook. Logins, app updates, and other technical issues have created barriers that prevent them from easily joining us in worship online.
To better serve our shut-ins, and to make it easier for all members, visitors, and friends to access our services, we are moving our livestream platform to YouTube.
Beginning Reformation Sunday, our livestream will be available on our YouTube channel: @StPetersFW
If you currently use links to access the stream, don’t worry, they will all be updated the weekend prior to Reformation weekend to direct you to our YouTube channel.
Why YouTube?
- No login required: Anyone can watch without needing to sign in.
- Easier access: Especially helpful for our shut-ins and those less comfortable with technology.
- More reliable viewing: Works across all devices and smart TVs.
- Optional notifications: You can choose to Like and Subscribe to receive alerts when a livestream begins.
As we make this transition, we’ll continue updating The Hub with helpful information and guidance.
Thank you for supporting this move as we strive to care for all members of our church family, especially those who can’t be with us in person. We look forward to worshiping together in person and on our new livestream platform starting Reformation Sunday!
