A Prayer for our Children - Details in Church this Weekend

Prayer is one of the great gifts God gives His people. Through prayer, we are invited to come before our Heavenly Father with thanksgiving, confession, joy, sorrow, and every need of body and soul. Not because we have earned His attention, but because through Jesus Christ, we are His beloved children. Scripture reminds us to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), trusting that God hears and responds according to His good and gracious will.

In the busyness of life, prayer can sometimes become something we intend to do rather than something we regularly practice individually or together with others. As a congregation, we want to continue growing as a people shaped by God’s Word and grounded in prayer. Keep an eye out for simple opportunities to strengthen prayer habits in our homes, our families, and our church community.

We've got one for you this weekend! Before each Sunday worship service, be sure to check in with one of our  elders before worship to pick up a special prayer item. We’ll explain more in the announcements and invite you to join us in this effort to encourage meaningful, Christ-centered prayer throughout our congregation.

We look forward to growing together in faith, hope, and prayer as we place all things into the hands of our gracious Lord.

Peace be with you all,

Pastor Nate
