Preserving Our Past, One Pizza at a Time

For nearly 170 years, God has been at work through St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Along the way, generations have left behind photographs, documents, records, and artifacts that tell the story of faith, family, and ministry in this place. These items are precious, and many are also delicate.

We are excited to share that we have received a grant from the Lutheran Foundation that will cover 25% of the cost needed to purchase specialized furniture and equipment to preserve, protect, and share these historical treasures. To meet the remaining need, we’re inviting our church family to help in a fun (and delicious!) way.

Coming soon: a Take & Bake Pizza Fundraiser to support the preservation of our church’s history. This is a simple way to contribute while also stocking your freezer, or feeding a hungry crowd on game day.

More details will come following the holidays. Start thinking pizza, and thank you for helping us care for the story God has been writing at St. Peter’s for generations.

If you'd like to help be part of putting pizzas together or love this idea of preserving our past and want to know more, reach out to our member, Jessica Arnett.
